Does Taking An Additional Dosage Of Halcion Cause Side Effects?
I had a patient who took Halcion 0.25mg 2 tabs before appoint when should have been 1. She said she did not notice any changes and was still anxious 1/2 hrs later. We had her take 0.25mg more not realizing she took two. She weighs approx 280 lbs. Max recommended dose is 0.5mg. Any worries with her ? No Side effects so far and its been 4 hrs.

This is not a good idea, but should cause no side effects except for possibly some extra sleepiness. Due to her weight it may not even cause that since the dose for her weight is not really that much. However, it is best to stick to the prescribed amount.
