My potassium level is low according to a recent blood test. My doctor suggested adding oj, bananas, and vegetables to my diet. I already eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Does two cups of coffee in the morning affect potassium levels? Should I switch to black tea?
HI, THANX FOR USING HCM,
Sodium and potassium are two major minerals that manage electrolyte balance in the body.
Include more of potassium rich sources in your diet like bananas, oranges, dates, mango, papaya, pomogranate, raisins etc. vegetables like spinach leafy veg, tomatoes, potatoes, milk products all these contribute to enough potassium to maintain normal levels.
consuming 2 cups of coffee does not decrease your potasssium levels.
