Does Taking Hmg 75 U Injection Increase Follicle Size?

hello, my sis in law is having her follicle size very less to consive.. shr is taking hmg 75 u injection after 3 5 n 7 day..will this hrlp her to increase her follicle size...is there any harm to take these injections.. and what care shud be taken while taking it

Human menopausal gonadotropin (HMG) will enhance follicular maturation, size and promote ovulation. Women on HMG will undergo follicular study (Ultrasound scanning) to assess the follicular changes and ovulation.

The important side effect of HMG is ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome where ovaries get hyperstimulated and enlarged. The symptoms to watch out for include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, abdominal swelling, excessive thirst. If any such symptoms develop while on HMG, immediately follow up with the emergency room.
