Hello, I am Dr Rangwala, many Medicines for Diabetes and Blood Pressure control are available now and are from different groups, although certain Medicine do cause such effect on the other hand certain medicines also cause opposite effect (weight loss), but this would be generalised statement, It would be good enough IF you specify which Medicine are you taking and than it will be easy to let you answer correctly..... thanks .... take care
