Does Taking Zolpidem Cause Paralysis Of Vocal Cord?

Hi my name is Cheryl and I lost my voice a month ago. It happen two days after I was prescribed zolpidem. I thought nothing of it and thought I was getting sick but sickness never came. Nine days of no voice I went to the doctors office who then sent me to a ENT for a scope to confirm that I have a paralyzed vocal cord. I just received two CT scans and may be sent for a MRI next but waiting for scan results! I believe it was the drug that caused it.
