Does Telma20 Cause Headache?
My wife age 62 a petient of blood presure for the last 20 years.She is taking Tenormin 50.Since last three months her BP remains 155/78 even after medication.She is added Telma 20 which helped her normal BP.But for the last 15 days she developed pinning head ache behind the head near right ear,which not continuous non recrrently comes and go for seconds.Is it side effect of Telma20 since it came only after started takining this drug.Please advice.

As your Tenormin 50 was not sufficient to control the blood pressur of your wife,Doctor added Telmisartan 20mg also to have a good control.Telmisartan is AT1 receptor blocker relatively a safe medicine for hypertension and headache as side effect due to this is less common.If headache is not getting well then lets consult your physician as there are so many causes of headache.Take medicine on time.Take care.
