Hello,
You may experience discomfort and dryness in your throat after a dental visit especially with multiple teeth being involved. I would need more details in your procedures and condition of your teeth to give a detailed opinion.
if you had a temporary fixed bridge placed, I would expect there was drilling close to the nerve and some disruption of your gums. It is possible that your bite was off balance or the cement did not hold the bridge well.
if you had a removable bridge, it may have been pressing on your gum, too tight or bite need adjusting. Did you have an extraction and immediate placement of a temporary This can often involve a difficult few days.
I am glad to assist further if you provide details on your dental treatment. You should ask your dentist to explain the reasons and what to expect. You should be confident with your dentist and expectations before proceeding with dental work. Obtaining a second opinion is always an option. Thank you for your inquiry.
