Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us,
I have studied your case with diligence.

Yes it can be tenosynovitis.
MRI may help in diagnosis or ultrasound can be done.

Tenosynovitis is due inflammation and swelling of tendon .swelling on tendon may not reduce with medication alone.

Local steroid injection can give good results added with physiotherapy protocol. If not relieved with conservative treatment surgical release may be required.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
