Hello,
Dianne 35,
contraceptive pills are to be taken for 21 days & withdrawal bleeding occurs in the 7 pill free days. After which it has to be started again for 21 days. If you take Dianne 35 continuously, then you may not get periods. Withdrawal bleeding occurs when a gap of 7 days is given. You are experiencing the side effects of the medicine taken.
At present you are advised to take
Provera to help regulate your menstrual cycle and
hormone imbalance that are causing cessation of periods. Take care of the diet you are taking. Your diet should be rich in iron,
magnesium, calcium and high in protein. You can take uterine tonics for better uterine health.
Get clinically examined and get required blood tests and investigations done so that any underlying health condition that is causing you symptoms can be treated at the earliest. Stay away from
anxiety and stress as it may trigger your symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
