Does The Medication Ambroil, Advent And Sinarest Cause Motions In An Infant?

Hello Doctor,

My son who is 1year 1month old had been suffering from cough and fever for last 10 days, doctor have prescribed Ambrodil s syrup 5ml, Advent syp 2.5 ml and Sinarest 3.5 ml, he is feeling better with no fever and reduced cough but now getting loose motion, which is not very severe, twice so far since morning but watery.. does any of the medicine above causes motions?

Hi. Yes, Advent can cause loose motions. This is because it disturbs to normal flora of intestine. Nothing serious about is as it will stop on stoppage of medicines. I do advise you to add a sahet of sporalc one a day.
