Does The Ovoid Lesion On The Foot Require Surgery?

Hello I had an MRI done on my left foot and it says there is an ovoid lesion over the plantar aspect of the foot measuring about 31 mm in length x 11 mm in height x 16 mm in transverse diameter my question is .Is it dangerous an will need sugery..Thank you Mary

After going through your query I concluded that you have a ovoid lesion in your foot. By MRI it can not be said that it is dangerous. But I think it requires surgery. Tissue taken during surgery can be send for histopathological examination. Its report will tell whether it is dangerous. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
