Does Tingling Sensation And Discharge Indicate Gonorrhea?
I had gonorrhea and my doctor gave my a shot. My discharge stopped and it wasn't itching any more. The day after I got off my period; I would urinate and it would be a tingling sensation. I have discharge, but it's has no color. Could I still have gonorrhea?
A common symptom of PID is discharges following menses. this is so because blood is a rich culture medium for bacterial. With your discharges that have re-appeared after your menses, a PID must be ruled out.
Your doctor should do a detail examination including cervical motion test, vaginal smear and culture and a pelvic ultrasound.
Treatment has to be aggressive with appropriate antibiotics. In my practice, cases of PID, i treat for three consecutive months after each period.
