I have just noticed a small black dot on the inside of my cheek near my molars. I have not had any dental work done recently, could this be caused by tobacco use? Im not sure, i usually put my dip in the front part of lip and not the back part of my jaw
Yes.Tobacco use in any form Ex. smoking, chewing tobacco can form pigmentation in mouth. On long term use it can cause submucosal fibrosis[difficulty in opening mouth],oropharyngeal cancer etc.
Tobacco has been proven to be carcinogenic.I would strongly suggest you to stop tobacco use.You can try nicotine gums instead.Consult a psychiatrist for further treatment.
