Does Trauma Cause Hair Loss And Are There Any Tests For It?
I am 64 year old woman who is experiencing notable hair loss, especially on the crown of my head. My husband had major heart surgery in March of 2013, about 11 months ago. I initially thought this was the cause of my hair loss, but I still am loosing more than usual strands when washing and styling my hair. A blood test for a routine physical in November did not show any abnormalities, but I do not think the doctor was aware of my hake loss at that time. Can it take a long time after trauma for hair to grow back and get healthy? Should I have my doctor do another blood test to see if something else is going on?

the loss of hair is due to tension and worry which causes abormal eating habbits which may in turn cause anemia have blood test once again and proper treatment for anemia the lost hair will grow again
