Does Treatment For Blood Pressure Need Multiple Medicines?

I am on three blood pressure medications. carvedilol 12.5 MG, amlodipine 5 MG. and valsartan 320 MG. Is it normal to be on so many drugs for the same ailment, or put another way, could it make sense that I would be on so many drugs? I m aware, you are not aware of my particular case, but just your gut feeling please. Thank you for your help. Jack Hodges.

you have provided very less information,what is ur bp reading without medicines ?? And whats the bp reading after taking medicines ??
