Does Ulcer And Blood In Urine Require Medical Attention?

My dad, 71 yrs old was diagnosed with severe stomach ulcers after an overnight stay in the hospital last weekend. He was discharged on Sunday. Tonight he just said he has blood in his urine, but says he doesnt want to go to the hospital, doesnt think its serious. Should he be taken to ER, call Paramendics or ?

Blood in urine (in small amounts) is nothing urgent. And it is not related to peptic ulcers.
Most probable reason of such symptom is urinary tract infection. He may have fever, burning while urinating, frequent urinating with this issue.
Sometimes blood in urine is a symptom of bladder lump.

I suggest him to consult his regular doctor. Urine analysis and abdominal ultrasound should be done. Antibiotic seems necessary. He should also increase mineral water intake and start cranberries supplementation.
