Does Urinary Tract Infection Cause Strong Urge For Bowel Movements ?
My wife is having the symptoms of a urinary tract infection but is also having a strong urge for bowel movements. Is that common with a uti? We are giving her lots of water and cranberry juice but the pain and urge to go both one and two are not decreasing.
The most common cause of UTI infections is e.coli bacteria. Although it is possible for e. coli to cause bowel symptoms, it is more likely that other bacteria in feces will infect either the vagina or urinary tract. so possibility are more. kindly do urine culture and visit a physician to take proper antibiotics to fix both the issues.
