Hello Thank You for contacting HCM. Ketoconazole topical has been assigned to pregnancy category C by the FDA. Oral antifungal causes more harm and in situation like yours, topical therapy is only recommended when benefit outweighs risk. I would suggest you to stop using it and keep a close regular followup with your consultant gynecologist so that she can keep a close eye on developing fetus. Risks of congenital anomalies by topical use are minimum as compared to oral use. Hope this answers your question.
