Does Weird Feeling In Chest Indicate Acid Reflux?

Hi. Ive been having this weird feeling in my chest just a few inches down from my breast bone. Its very hard to explain. Sometimes when I push that part in it makes me feel sick and feels very uncomfortable. Just feels like something isnt right. Ive read up about it and the symptoms are leaning towards acid reflux. But am not 100% sure it could be that?

Hi thanks for asking question.

According to history if you have heart burn Like symptoms then yes you could have acid reflux disease.It can lead such chest pain.Omeprazole can taken with head elevation while sleeping.Manometry useful for diagnosis.

If you have viral infection like cold then also such feeling can occur.

If you have any unaccoustemed activity or heavy weight lifting or exercise then pain can occur.

Although chances are less, if you have associated right side abdomen pain and developing jaundice then early hepatitis can lead chest pain with other symptom like muscle pain, anorexia etc .USG and LFT can be done for it...
