Dog Bite, Vaccinated For Rabies. No Bleeding. Used Silver Sulfadiazine And Povidone-iodine. Taken Tetanus Shot. Next?

I was just bitten by a dog....it broke the skin but is not bleeding...on my thigh....what is the best first aid? I washed it out with povidone-iodine and then put some silver sulfadiazine cream on it (been using for a burn for which I am also taking cephalexin 500 mg. 3x/day. Have not had a tetanus shot for many years...dog has been vaccinated for rabies about 2 years ago. Have ice on it for bruising and pain.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
As you were BITTEN by a dog ( canine teeth ingested in your flesh as these are source of rabies virus in dogs).
Tetanus toxoid must be ,so get it at once.
Dog was vaccinated 2 year back , so this is a risk , in my opinion you should get anti rabies vaccine as HUMAN DIPLOID cell vaccine ( HDCV) or purified chick embryo cell vaccine ( PCECV) I M ( deltoid area), one each on days 0, 3, 7, & 14.
0 day count when first injection given.
Antibiotics are secondary things in such cases.
