Hi, i am 29 of age...i had TOP twice, first in my early 20s nd again when i was 25/6 now im having pains on my tubes or uterus not sure but it feels like its swollen nd when i seat down it feels painfull on my anal...i cant enjoy sex anymore....i get discharge sometimes or a pimple or thrush. Will i be able to have babies nd how can i get help. Wat meds must i use. I really feel discomfort please help.
Hi, Thanks for the query. If you underwent D & C after termination of pregnancy, there is possibility of pelvic inflammatory disease. PID can present with pain abdomen, vaginal discharge etc. So you once consult gynecologist, get examined and go for ultrasound. By examination and ultrasound the possible cause for your problem can be identified. If there is infection, you may need one course of antibiotics. And also you have to get tested for patency of the tubes. If tubes are patent, after completion of the antibiotics course you can plan for pregnancy. If tubes are having some adhesions etc, that can affect the fertility. So discuss all these things with your doctor and follow her advice. Take care.
