Done Aortic Valve Replacement, Double Bypass. Done Chest Drain For Lung Fluid. Worried

My husband has just had his Aortic valve replaced and a double bypass, yesterday he was found to have fluid on the lung ,He then had a chest drain inserted and about 11/2 litres of blood stained fluid. The drain has now been removed and he is now for discharge tomorrow. I am longing to have him home but am also a little scared .He is 8days post op.

If they are planning to discharge, it means – the event is transient or well controlled.
Most generally do well / there generally may not be a problem
