Done Chemotherapy For Breast Cancer. Had Fallopian Tubes Removed. Tumor In Kidneys. Serious?
My friend is currently fighting breast cancer ( her second bout). She has undergone chemo. They now say they have found a tumor in her kidneys. They said that she needed to have her overview and fallopian tubes removed. She underwent this procedure last week. They say it's because the tumor is feeding off the estrogens. How serious is her cancer now, and what are some of the effects will she now face. She already says she can't sleep. How long will this last, and what other things can she expect to happen?
Hi, it appears that it started metastasis, and reached kidney. if the ovaries are not removed the cancer spreads very fast and can cover all the body, so what ever has happened is ffor her good health. The removal of ovary can have side effects but they are not more than the effects of active tumour. Thank you.
