Done Obstetric Anomaly Ultrasonography. Normal?
Hi Doctor, My Wife had a OBSTERTRIC ANOMALY ULTRASONOGRAPHY scan , i would like to know if every thing is normal. Following are the details fo the report : Fetal parameters are as follows: BPD: 5.1 cms AC: 16.1 cms U/S AGE: 21 WEEKS 2 DAYS Fetal Weight : 424+/-62gms HC: 18.7 cms FL: 3.8 cms FHR:163 bpm Placenta is at fundal posterior wall, upper and mid uterine segment with grade I maturity. Lower segment is free.No previa noted. Internal os is closed.Situs solitus noted. Fetal cardiac activity and limb movements are weel seen. Umbilical cord is 3 vesseled. Both uterine arteries show high resistance flow with early diastolic notch. Want to know if every thing is normal or not? Please reply. Regards, VV

The ultra sound report of your wife is 99% normal,except for the increased resistance in uterine arteries.There is nothing to worry,the baby at this stage is quite normal,placenta is also normal.there is no abnormality in any genital part of your .wife,let us hope for health baby and healthy mother
