Done Surgery For Hernia. Possible To Cure Hernia Through Laproscopy?
My mother is suffering from Hernia from last 5 years. She has already undergone 3 operations, 1. for wound in her womb 2. delivery 3. for Hernia in 2007. Still she is facing the same problem. I would like to go for laproscopy instead of general surgery. I afraid opearted part is very weak because of past operations and cannot bear one more. Is it possible to cure hernia after 3 general operations through laproscopy? IF yes please suggest me best surgeons in hyderabad/vijayawada? If no please suggest few general surgeons in hyderabad/vijayawada?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vidya KR's Response
Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
As she already had 2 operations, there will be more intraabdominal adhesions, its difficult to perform a laproscopy, better to go for open operation and correction of hernial defect done. You can consult a surgeon in your place, discuss with him, get your operation done.
Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries. Wish you good health. Take care.
Regards Dr. Vidya
