ultra sound, stool occult blood tests normal..has been a long time since my health is upset Had suffered from food poisoning long time ago( abt 25 days). Underwent medical courses of antibiotics, probiotics. Stool consistancy gradually increased. Loose stools gradually turned to normal but slight yellow in colour. Was getting better gradually... Yesterday passed normal stools but slightly discoloued.. was little dark ( black..had orio biscuits/ chocolates last night). Visited gastro specialist doctor immediatly. He suggested to go for a ultra sound scan and stool occult blood test. The scan report was normal. and the stool occult blood test was negative. Still i have mucus in stool. Has been a long time. But still not cured. Had been relying totally on curd rice, yogurt and banana all these days. Much worried abt my health. How long will i take to recover fully. Should there be any changes in diet.?? I have stopped all medications as i completed a full course.
