Done Vaginal Hysterectomy. Cramping, Fever. No Relief With Pain Medicine. What To Do?

I HAD A VAGINAL HYSTERECTOMY ON THE 26th of June. I talked to the Dr yesterday and was told the cramping I was having was normal.today the cramping is worse, pain meds are not touching it.and right at my bikini line it hurts to touch.nothing higher then 99.9 fever wise,no orders.at this point I don't know what to do.should I wait to go back to the Dr on the tenth or go to the Dr?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

Some amount of cramping can be seen after surgery as told by your doctor.
And it will take around one month for complete healing of the internal wounds.
Granulation tissue can be formed at the wound site.
If you are having continuous severe pain, better to consult doctor now.
She can examine you and rule out any possibility of infection.
The possibilities of urinary tract infection, bowel disturbances also to be ruled out.

Take care.
