Drank Chia Seeds, Pain In Upper Stomach, Took Tums. Treatment?

Yesterday, I drank some Chia Seeds because of all the hype and assumed I had a bad reaction as they had a laxative effect. Ever since I woke up this morning I've had a sharp pains in my upper stomach region, it's an on and off pain. I'm wondering what it this pain could be? I took two Tums thinking that it might help but it didn't do anything for the pain

Hi,

I'd recommend to stop using Chia seeds for a while until your bowel movement is back to normal again.

I would also recommend to start using

- proton-pump inhibitors for hyperacidity of the stomach;

- spazmex for the pain;

- tasectan for diarrhea;

- probiotics to regulate the normal flora of the intestines;

- drink plenty of water and oral rehydration salts to replace the lost fluids.

Thank you.
