Drinking More Water After Dark Urine. Stomach Bubbles A Lot. Why?
The first time I seen my urine dark was about 2 weeks ago it scared me and everyone said just drink more water. I've been drinking a lot of water but yesterday the dark colored urine came back and I've been drinking water and it hasn't gone away and my stomach bubbles a lot.I'm only 19 and I don't know why this is happening
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. Dark urine you have mentioned might be hematuria and drinking more water doesnt helps you in this case. You need to have a urine culture done to rule out hematuria and infection. So that you can get treated accordingly. Hope this answers your query. Thank you.
Hi!
welcome to HCM!
Its true that urine looks darker in dehydration and drinking water is essential but dark urine can be caused by many pathological states like Hemolytic anemia
Injury to the kidneys or urinary tract,Medications,Porphyria,Urinary tract disorders that cause bleeding. Some fruits like Beets, blackberries, or certain food can cause colour changes.
Dark yellow or orange urine can be caused by:B complex vitamins or carotene

Get a urine routine microscopy test done and you will know the cause.
