I'm doing a speech on medical ethics. Would you be able to tell me your response to this hypothetical situation?
A young girl arrives at the hospital, she has been involved in a car crash and is in a lot of pain. However she is a previous drug addict (opiates) and you are unsure whether to risk her sobriety or not. Placebo is an option.

yes we can use placebo to see the effect of it
