Dry Throat. Drinking Water. Is It An Infection?

I have a very dry throat and water, tea, or any home remedies are not working. Also my throat is NOT sore or hurting. My throat is just super dry. I'm drinking tons of water and tea but nothing is working. What should I do? Because its starting to hurt to breath because its sooo dry. Please help. Am I sick? Do I need my tonsils removed? Is my throat infected? Am I some how dyhidrated? HELP!!!!!?

THE CAUSE CAN BE GERD REFLUX OESOPHAGITIS IN WHICH ACID COME UP IN THE THROAT AND BURNS THE MUCUS SECRETING GLANDS LEADING TO DRYNESS
NEED TO TAKE NON OILY NON SPICY AND NON GREESY FOOD
NEED LIQUID ANTACID GEL TDS
GET ULTRASOUND ABDOMEN AND SEE THE GASTROENTEROLOGIST TO TREAT THE CAUSE
