HELLO DOCTORS,
I AM 27 YEARS OLD AND SUFFERING FROM THROAT INFECTION SINCE 1 MONTH.... AS DOCTOR TOLD ME ABOUT THE SAME AFTER HIS DIAGNOSIS .EARLIER I USED TO GET DRY LIPS AND DRY DIRT IN MY NOSTRILS SO I DID NOT PAY ANY ATTENTION TO IT.BUT I AM UNDER TREATMENT OF ONE OF THE ENT SPECIALIST IN MY HOME TOWN .SOME OF THE SYMPTOMS OF MY AILMENT AS OF NOW ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1.DRYNESS IN THROAT 2.AND RED PATCHES N THE TWO SIDES OF OVULA. 3.THROAT GOT DRY IF I TALK TO MUCH SO,I JUST WANT TO CONFIRM YOU THAT IS IT COMPLETELY CURABLE AS MY DOCTOR HAD PRESCRIBED ME SOME ANTIBIOTICS SUCH AS AZITHROMYCIN TO TREAT THE SAME.AND ALSO WANT TO ASK ONE MORE THING THE PROBLEM INCREASES WHEN I USE TO HAVE CURD. BEFORE GOING TO MY OFFICE AND PRIOR TO THIS PROBLEM IN MY THROAT I USE TO HAVE CURD IN MORNING TIME ON DAILY BASIS JUST WANT TO REMOVE THE MISCONCEPTION THAT IT IS CAUSED DUE TO SAME.
hello Sanjay, First of all curd is not a problem if it is fresh and home made.and most importantly it improves the hydration so you can have it. Secondly if you have a dry nose then use normal saline nasal sprays as this is hot summers and the skin of nose get dried up .even if you sit in air conditioner as it dries up the air it gives cool dry air.Sprays will help in keeping nose healthy and even keeping throat wet. Throat can get infected by nasal infection or dryness and because of outside food and reflux of food from stomach. for reflux--- Keep head end of bed elevated. Avoid alcohol, Smoking Do brisk walking daily Go for walk after dinner Avoid spicy food Avoid late night coffee
So 2 things to care for nasal sprays and reflux. get well soon Do reply if any confusion and follow up after 7 days.
