During Chemotherapy Does Smoking Marijuana Reduce WBC Count?

i am currently recieving chemo fu -5 at sloan. my white blood caount was to low by a hair for chemo. i have been recieving chemo for 3 months. i started smoking marijana to boost my appetite. it has worked. i smoke a couple of puffs per day is it affecting my white blood cells??

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You are taking chemotherapy. Your wbc count is low but it is due to chemotherapy. If you persistent low count and its not improving then you can take granulocytes stimulating factors. Avoid smoking marijuana. It has many other side effects and on chemotherapy yousshould not take that.
