Earlier And Light Periods, Bloating, Nausea, Morning Sickness. Am I Pregnant?

I had what I considered my period about a week earlier than usual and it was lighter and shorter than usual. Ever since it ended I've been feeling bloated. I feel nauseous at times when I eat. The thought of pregnancy has crossed my mind because I had similar symptoms with morning sickness with my daughter. Peppermint seems to help ease it. Peppermint also helped with my first pregnancy. Any ideas?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Just by symptoms we cannot come to one conclusion regarding pregnancy.
If you had unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation, there is possibility of pregnancy.
In that case, the bleeding you had could be implantation bleeding.
But intermenstrual spotting, bloating sensation etc can be seen in premenstrual phase also.
So, once go for pregnancy test.
If possible prefer blood test for pregnancy, because it will give more accurate result than urine test.

If the test comes negative, the possibility of pregnancy is less.
There could be some hormonal disturbance.
If the problem repeats in next cycle, consult gynecologist once and get evaluated.
Take care.
