Ears Infected After Wearing Artificial Jewellery. Why Does Pus And Blood Ooze?
I got my ears pierced in May 2012 and i was wearing a silver earring. Everything was fine. So fine that i changed to an artificial earring in the end of June. After that my ears got infected. So i switched to neem sticks instead of any earring. Pus formation is there and sometimes blood oozes out. Currently i am using Mupirocin ointment. Please suggest what to do?

hello. the piercing has got infected and i would recommend you don't put anything in it. please continue the mupirocin ointment for few more days. it will heal. if however there is still pus, then meet your ENT doctor for further advice. thanks
