Edema Around Upper Ankle Area. Diagnosed With ET. Recommendations?
Hello! I injured my shin about 5 days ago ( today was my first day back to work) when i removed my shoes and socks i noticed edema around upper ankle area with purple coloring, My conceres are have have been diagnosised with ET. I am trying to be cautious due to my excessive red blood count. Thanks in advance for any / all info.

Essential thrombocytosis is associated with bleeding and thrombosis.
The edema may be likely due to ET.
This is due to the trauma to the shin.
Long hours of standing during work could have lead to edema.
