Edema In Feet, Shortness Of Breath And Dizziness. What Could This Be?
Hello I'm trying to find out what is wrong with my mother she is having swelling around her feet, light-headed, and shortness of breath. She was in the hospital last month for a week the doctor there said that it was a possibility that it could be cancer but didn't know only thing he knew was that she had fluid around her heart and a possible parasite but later on told us that there was no parasite please help!!! She's back in the hospital again. Thank you.

I read carefully your concern and would like to say it seems clear to me that your mother has pericarditis complicated with heart failure.
There are a lot of causes of pericarditis but the most important are:
1 Tumoral disease.
2 Rheumotoid disease.
3 Infective causes
4 Unknown etiology.
