Elbow Injury, Shoulders Subluxated Normally, Painful, Bruised. What Is Wrong?
Hi I was about to do a pull up on the pull up bar in my doorframe. As I started to pull up, the bar broke and I fell backwards onto kitchen tiles - landing on both my elbows! I have shoulders that are subluxated normally (which sometimes causes some pain) but now my shoulders are painful and I get a sharp pain as I move them also my elbow appears to be starting to bruise.
It looks that you had a recent injury. It looks from your details that there may be a soft tissue injury at your shoulder. This may be a tendon injury also. There are no. of tendon & muscles around shoulder ,there are chances that they may be injured. You should do following to have relief in this-
-At least have a x ray of your shoulder, this will be able to rule out any minor bone injury.
-Keep your limb in pouch arm sling. This will keep your shoulder in relaxed position.
-Do ice fomentation at shoulder as well as at elbow.
-Consult to an orthopedic specialist.
-Avoid strain on your affected part.
Hope this all will help you.
With best wishes.
