Elbow Locking Up, Pain When Moving, Makes Popping Noise
Hi in about the last week my right elbow as started to lock up when I bend it. However it as started to get to the point where it locked and I can move it, when it locks I get a sharp pain when it stoles moving. To get it back I have to leave it for a second, then push it back and when I do it is pain full and makes a loud poping noise. As well as if u put your hand on the inside bend of the elbow u feel it pop when it goes back. So times if I am just sitting watching tv I get this acey feeling.
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms you are having are likely to be due to tendonitis or an inflammation around the elbow joint. You need to get an MRI scan of the area done for proper diagnosis. Mild pain killers, hot fomentation and rest will help in relieving the symptoms.
