Electric Shock In Brain, Numb Lips With Severe Headache And Freezing Sweats. On Antidepressants. Any Ideas?
Hi I am on some serious anti depressants, quetiapine and mirtazapine. I have been on them for over three years but I am still experiencing electric shocks to my brain I get a numdness in my lips and terrible headaches. I am also terrible at sleeping and wake in huge freezing sweats. I have been telling my doctors but they just flog me off! Any ideas? Its really getting me down thanks

Out of two drugs mentioned by you I will not use first one for my patients for the symptoms mentioned by you However your doctor is best judge
You need a through Psychiatric evaluation including Psychometric testing for proper diagnosis
May need adjustment /addition of drugs for releif but before that get done Fasting and Post meal (2 hours after meal) blood sugar ;BP mointering Hb TLC DLC /THS for thyroid ;Some tine in disturbed blood sugar lavels hypertension Thyroid problems these symptoms may appear
