Endometriosis, Have Consistent Bleeding, Severe Pain. Will Progesterone Help?

Hi Doctor- My name is Kelley and I have had endrometriosis since I was a teen. I am now 43 yrs. old and have been bleeding from moderate to profuse for 6 weeks. I also have terrible pain at times. I don't know what to do. My Doctor has called me in a presciption for Progesterone pills. Will this stop these problems? Thank You

hi, you have endometriosis from very long time. and you have symptoms of it now. you are given progesterone which is helpful. if it doesnot work, you may need surgery, cauterisation of the lesions. for this see your gynaecologist. all the very best.
