Hello,
At your age, perineal muscles get lax even though there are no vaginal deliveries and to prevent a recurrence of prolapse, you should strengthen your perineal muscles by exercise. You can help wound healing by taking sitz baths. Maintain personal hygiene and see that you pass a soft stool to avoid straining. Your doctor may prescribe you local applications to facilitate healing and lessen pain. You may apply them after passing the stool and for pain relief, before passing the stool. Drink plenty of water, eat fresh green vegetables and fruits. Wish you good health.
