Experiencing Abdomen Pain After An Injury

Hi, I slipped on the stairs Sunday morning and fell on my back pretty hard. It hurt in my abdomen at impact and a minute later felt fine. Went to work yesterday a little sore. I just woke up with sharp pains in my abdomen, and am not sure if i should get checked out or not.

Pain abdomen following trauma needs to get investigated and watched carefully. If I were your doctor, I would advise you for an ultrasound of abdomen to know the exact affairs in your abdomen. Also you need to be examined physically to rule out associated intra-abdominal visceral injury, and so you should fix an appointment with a general surgeon of your area and report to him at your earliest.
