Experiencing Acute Pain & Cramping In Right Thigh After Moving From A Position
I was sitting down last night and then when I stood up encountered this acute pain in my right thigh and a cramping sensation. I could not walk properly and was unable to lift my leg higher than 6 inches off the ground without clamping both hands round my thigh and lifting it up. There was also an acute burning sensation in the front of my thigh. These symptoms persisted for some 5 minutes and were gradually relieved as I walked round the room. I lay down in bed some 10 minutes later and when I got up suddenly after some 5 minutes the same thing occurred but this episode was much shorter and relieved by my walking round again. I have since slept for 7 hours and thankfully seem to be back to normal though there remains some memory in my thigh.
