Experiencing Constant Breathlessness And Tightness Around Chest. No Relief With Inhalers And Pain Relievers

Currently experiencing several symptoms that has been consistant for going on 4 days now....Shortness of breath and severe tightness spanning around chest, sides & back. Now on the 4th day the pain has spanned lower below chest bone. No other symptoms, no cough, etc. Ive tried inhalors, pain relievers, gas relief but nothing has helped or eased it. Even short slow paced walks or simply laying down are scary. Its like my chest refuses to expand and allow even a short breath in - so scary its like instant panic mode! I have to sit straight up and chin up for a few seconds. The strangest part is if I wear snug pants the tightness & pain in my chest intensifies. The ER eliminated any Heart complication, lungs sounded good. They gave me no explanation. They perscribed an inhaler and sent me on my way.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, this seems anxiety and depression attack and very common symptoms this attack would be breathing problem, as your EKG might have turned unremarkable, and also other test shown no abnormality and then the panic attack is very likely, you need to relax, take deep breath, lay down in prone position, start relaxing your body from the toe area of both the legs, feel as if you do not have you legs, and then with this feeling go up to your head, you would feel little drowsy, try to sleep then, this is the thing you can do right now, else you have to see the psychiatrist, take care and do not worry, this will be fine soon bye.
