Experiencing Dark Brown Discharge With Clots After A Very Heavy Period, Severe Cramps, Body Pain. What Could Be Wrong?

I am experiencing dark brown discharge with clots 8-9 days after a very heavy period. I had severe cramps and abdominal pain for 6 days. After it was over I had nausea , slight spotting, cramps, joint pain, headache, fatigue, gas, and diarrhea for about 5 days. Now, nearing ovulation, I lost all those symptoms except the spotting and diarrhea. I actually feel energized now and can eat more than before. What is wrong with me?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The heavy bleeding with clots followed by a brownish discharge is likely to be due to a dysfunctional uterine bleeding. This happens due to mild hormonal imbalance and regular hormonal therapy will help in decreasing the bleeding.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
