Experiencing Delay In Periods, dizziness & Light Headedness
HELLO, IM 20 YEARS OLD AND I HAVENT HAD MY PERIOD SINCE SEPTEMBER 6 AND TODAY IM 31 DAYS LATE. I DO NOT HAVE ANY PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS AND MY LAST 2 TESTS HAVE COME OUT NEGATIVE. IVE BEEN EXPERIENCING DIZZYNESS AND LIGHTHEADEDNESS SINCE SUNDAY NIGHT. COULD I BE PREGNANT?
Menstrual irregularities can be seen due to many causes which will affect the reproductive hormone levels. This causes can be psychological or physical like changes in diet, sleep etc, thyroid hormone imbalance, general conditions like anemia etc. As your pregnancy test gives negative result, the possibility of pregnancy is less though, that cannot be completely excluded. Lightheadedness may suggest the pregnancy, but it is not confirmative of pregnancy.
You please go for a blood test for pregnancy, which can give more accurate result compared with urine test. If the blood test gives serum beta HCG levels less than 5 mIU/mL the possibility of pregnancy is almost nil. You can go for tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding after consulting your gynecologist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
