Experiencing Frequent Urination , Back & Abdomen Pain

I had to pee very badly the other day. 3 days ago and I couldn't because i wasn't near a bathroom. I had to wait 45 mins. Anyways when I tried to pee I couldn't. Now my back hurts and my abdomen hurts as well. The sensation of having to pee never goes away.

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

I think that you may be suffering from urinary tract infection. I would suggest you to have a course of urinary alkalizing syrups for 10 days, start antispasmodic drotaverine for 5 days. Do a urine routine investigation and culture to arrive at diagnosis, I would also suggest you to do a blood sugar test.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy S. Bhattacharjee, OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine
