MY DAUGHTER HAD HER RIGHT EYE SWOLLEN, ABOVE THE EYE LID. WITH PLENTY OF ANTIBIOTICS HER SWELLING WENT AWAY. HOWEVER, SHE STARTED COMPLAING OF DOUBLE VISION. IT'S BEEN THREE WEEKS SINCE HER SWOLLEN EYE LID, SWELLING HAS GONE AWAY COMPLETELY BUT SHE SEE'S DOUBLE AND COMPLAINS OF HEADACH. ANY SUGGESTIONS THANK YOU FRANK YYYY@YYYY
It appears to be calazion. It is a blocked gland with accumulation of secreation. Antibiotic was not required. Simple anlgesic with hot compression would have been sufficient. With minor surgical procedure it would have been scooped out. It appears the swelling have gone towards cornea and giving pressure over cornea giving rise to diplopia. Now ophthalmologist should examine. If required it can be scoopedout .
