Experiencing Heavy Bleeding And Noticing Different Things With My Blood
I stoped taking birth control a week ago. Three days after stopping I started bleeding heavily. It is the third day of still bleeding heavy and im noticing some different things with my blood. It has a brownish deep reddish color and smells like skunk. A really strong odor.
After stopping of contraceptive usually there is period like bleeding. and still 2-3 cycle it can be heavy and irregular. However, if you are finding some bleed then please confirm that it is not clot but some product of conception. If so, then that can be due to miscarriage. Then you have to do USG to plan further. Foul spelling order can be due to infection. If there is itching, pain or discharge, then it can be suspected.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Richa Agarwal, OBGYN
